In addition to the cost of digital
of records stored at the State Archive, the issuance of authentic and certified copies, pursuant to art. 1, paragraph 1 of DPR (Italian Presidential Decree) no. 642 of 26 October 1972, the Stamp Duty Regulation, requires the payment of the corresponding stamp duty.The application, which should be sent to the e-mail address as-no.salastudio@cultura.gov.it , will be registered by this Office and then sent back to the applicant in pdf format along with the price estimate, so that the relevant amount can be applied to the stamp duty.
The stamp duty costs €16.00 for the issuance of the certificate of conformity, and €16.00 for each foolscap folio, equivalent to 4 x A4 digital images for 4 sides of foolscap folio.
Payment can be made in two ways:

- via a digital revenue stamp, through the "Acquista @e.bollo" (“Buy digital revenue stamp”) page at https://pagonline.cultura.gov.it/pagamenti-pagopa/operazioni/home.do
- via a bank transfer using the F24 tax form, indicating duty code 1552.
Please note that the digital stamp duty only allows the issuing of one stamp at a time; it will therefore be necessary to apply as many digital stamps as there are revenue duty stamps required.
Having received the payment confirmation, as well as the files, it will also be possible to acquire the certificate of conformity for the digital copy of the original analogue document, as per the provisions of art. 23-ter, paragraph 3 of D.Lgs (Italian Legislative Decree) no. 82 of 7 March 2005, the Digital Administration Code, and the Guidelines of the Agency for Digital Italy of 18 September 2020.
