The State Archives of Novara is part of a project aimed to promote the figure and the work of the architect Alessandro Antonelli, promoted by Piedmont Regional Administration and held by the Abbonamento Musei Association. The project provides an overview of Antonelli’s architectural masterpieces highlighted in a cultural experience of life and accessibility. The contemporary language is intended to display the works of the architect, not only providing an insight in the historical and artistic perspective, but also a narrative devoted to the present time, telling visions and making community. On June 13, 2026, from 14.30 to 18.30, the State Archives of Novara will open the door for a wide document exhibition of original projects by Alessandro Antonelli. A special focus is dedicated to the Basilica of San Gaudenzio and a drawing of the Charity Major Hospital “Ospedale Maggiore della Carità”, and civil and religious projects of Novarese territory.
