On 13 September 2019, a study day dedicated to the history and historiography of Novara and the surrounding area in the modern era will be held at the State Archive of Novara. Esteemed academics specialising in political, institutional, social and religious history, and along with archivists devoted[1] to protecting the records, will discuss various topics related to the territory on this side of the River Ticino, from the domination of the Sforzas to the annexation of the Novara area by the Savoyard state.
