On 13 September 2019 a study day dedicated to the history and historiography of Novara and the Novara area in the modern era will be held at the State Archive of Novara. Authoritative academics in the area of political, institutional, social and religious history and archivists devoted to protecting the records will discuss various topics relating to the territory on this side of the River Ticino from the domination of the Sforzas through to the annex of the Novara area by the Savoyard state.
