STUDY ROOM RULES

1. The study room is open from Monday to Friday in two sessions: in the morning from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and in the afternoon from 12.30 to 3.30 p.m.
2. Access is permitted exclusively by reservation, to be requested by 12:00 on the day before the chosen date. Requests are made, after authentication and registration at the Study Room of the State Archives of Novara, ONLY through the dedicated portal: https://salastudio-archivi.cultura.gov.it  (for any difficulty and request for assistance you can write to the email address: as-no.salastudio@cultura.gov.it).
3. The reservation of the date and the requested material is considered confirmed only after receiving notification in the user dashboard of the Portal. Before going to the study room the scholar must, therefore, check in the appropriate section for the presence of the confirmation.
4. The user can request up to n. 5 units (envelopes, registers or files) at a time. It is possible to keep the material already consulted in storage for a maximum of 10 days.
5. The delivery of the reserved material takes place from 12:30 on the day following the request. Scientific assistance can be guaranteed by telephone, in the study room and electronically via the e-mail address as-no.salastudio@cultura.gov.it.
6. The authorized stationery consists only of soft-tipped pencils and erasers. This material cannot be requested on loan from the Study Room staff.
7. Pursuant to art. 108, paragraph 3, of Legislative Decree 42/2004 and subsequent amendments, non-profit reproductions made by private individuals with their own means are free of charge. The scholar can select in advance, in the appropriate reservation section of each individual piece, the request for reproduction with their own means (if it is intended to do so, we invite to make the request at this time to simplify the procedure).
8. The image reproduction service provided by the Institution must be booked in advance via email address: as-no.salastudio@cultura.gov.it with payments made via the PagoPA portal. Cash payments will not be accepted.
